Course Structure from 2021

The Module I: Key Disciplines in Poultry Health/Regulation Module OIE-WOAH will be offered exclusively via webinars, structured as follows:

  • 70 hours of pre-recorded material. The videos and teaching materials prepared by each Course Master will be available to be viewed at the pace and convenience of each participant.
  • 10 hours of live interaction with the Course Masters which will allow participants to ask questions and comment on clinical cases during weekly 2-hour Saturday sessions.
  • An official exam will only be organized during each specialized Module II course.

 

The various specialized Module II: Broilers, Egg Layers, Turkey or Waterfowl courses will be structured as follows:

  • 35 hours of pre-recorded material, following the principles stated above.
  • If the global health situation permits, there will be a one week (35 hours) long residential course. These will be organized so as to give priority to practical work, visits to the facilities linked to the course and interactions between Course Masters and participants.
  • The official end-of-course exam will cover content from Modules I and II.
