Information on Previous Courses

The first WVEPAH “Poulets de chair I” course in French was held at EISMV in Dakar from 17 to 28 March 2014. Twenty-two vets specialized in poultry, coming from 9 French speaking sub-Saharan countries and the Maghreb, attended the course. The knowledge level of the participants was very high and homogenous. They could fully benefit from the Course Masters’ teachings and share their own experiences. These discussions are still continuing between alumni, current participants and Course Masters through the private WVEPAH Facebook group. The atmosphere is both very professional and warm.

The “Chicken I” course in English was held at the Freie Universität of Berlin from 16 to 27 March 2015 for 22 attendees from Europe, Canada, the Middle East, Kazakhstan and India – 13 nationalities in total. The English-speaking participants joined the private Facebook group and participate actively.

The course “Poulet de chair II” held at EISMV in Dakar from 13 until 24 April 2015 included the ”regulation” module taught by the OIE. It was followed by the university examination for the “Certificate in Animal Health: Poultry Production”, 19 participants were successful. This international diploma is validated worldwide by the OIE.

The course “Chicken II” was held at the Freie Universität in Berlin from 7 to 18 March 2016 followed by the Certificate examination.

The course “Poulet de chair I” in French was held in Tunis at the ENMV of Sidi Thabet from 11 to 22 April 2016 with 26 participants from the Maghreb, a total of 9 countries were represented, including sub-Saharan Africa and France.

The course in Turkey Health for Poultry Experts was held in Berlin from October 17 – 22 2016 with 23 participants from 12 countries.

 

WVEPAH has the pleasure to announce that the first “Certificate in Animal Health: Poultry Production” diplomas obtained at EISMV in Dakar were awarded by the University of Luxembourg in early 2016. The diploma is validated by the OIE. It will enable the holders to improve their CV. See list of graduates under “Certificate”.
