Dr. Bernardo Todeschini

Dr. Todeschini has graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), being MSc in Veterinary Preventive Medicine and PhD student in the same University. In addition, he has concluded postgraduate courses on International Trade and on Agribusiness. Federal Agricultural Officer of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply since 2002, having acted for 10 years as Head of the Animal Health Services of the Federal Superintendence of Agriculture in RS. Todeschini has experience as Visiting Research Scholar at the University of New England (UNE), Australia, where has developed studies on strategic alliances in animal health. Worked at the Scientific and Technical Department of the World Organization for Animal Health – OIE, in Paris – France, where he acted on recognition of animal health status and development of programs for the global control of animal diseases. He has worked as Visiting Fellow at Aarhus University – Denmark, developing researches on regulation of international trade of products of animal origin.
